Web Editor quickstart
The Web Editor creates and edits Eidos Files directly in your browser. It does not require installation or an account.
-
Open editor.eidos.space.
-
Choose New for a blank file, Open for an existing
.eidosfile, or open the bundled sample first. -
Add records, fields, tables, or views. Double-click a Grid cell or press
Enter to edit it.
-
Use Save to update a directly opened file. If the browser cannot keep a writable file handle, use Save As or Download a copy.
What stays local
Section titled “What stays local”File bytes, SQLite queries, and edits remain on the device. The editor keeps a
browser-private recovery copy for unsaved work where supported; that recovery
copy is not a substitute for saving or backing up the .eidos file.
Continue with Eidos File basics or Data location and safety.
